Two-time Academy Award-winning star Anthony Hopkins’ Pacific Palisades home was also destroyed in the fires. A photo obtained by Page Six showed the house reduced to a pile of debris. The Welsh actor’s property was one of many luxury homes in the area.

Eugene Levy, who serves as the honorary mayor of a celebrity-filled Los Angeles neighborhood, found himself in a dangerous situation as the fire intensified. “The smoke looked pretty black and intense over Temescal Canyon,” Levy told the LA Times. “I couldn’t see any flames but the smoke was very dark.”

Unfortunately, Levy’s home did not survive the blaze. According to Page Six, only a few wooden posts remained standing on his property.
