Democrats will spend all day insisting that President Trump and Republicans are dangerous, heartless, and a threat to “democracy.” Yet time after time, it’s Democrats who get caught flat-out lying about Trump and the GOP in order to smear them. At this point, it’s hard not to wonder whether they’re simply incapable of telling the truth — or if lying has just become the only political tool they have left.
They’re at it once more, this time taking aim at First Lady Melania Trump, and misinterpreting a statement about Christmas to portray FLOTUS as a Scrooge.
Except that’s not at all what she said, as an X community note points out. Here’s the full quote, per W magazine:
“They say I’m complicit. I’m the same like him, I support him, I don’t say enough, I don’t do enough,” Trump told Wilkoff, who was secretly recording the phone call. “I’m working my a** off on the Christmas stuff, that, you know, who gives a f**k about the Christmas stuff and decorations? But I need to do it, right? Correct?”
This ridiculously lame attempt to get one over on the first lady went over like breaking wind in a crowded elevator:
And let’s not forget what the vice president without a personality once said about “Merry Christmas”:
Even CNN correctly reported on the context of the first lady’s remarks (and what about the loser who ‘secretly recorded’ her??):
And oh, by the way, Melania’s Christmas decorations at the White House this year are like they were during her husband’s first term: Top notch, very traditional, and gorgeous:
When Democrats want to go low, they always beat expectations. What losers.
