Vatican Confirms Pope Francis Is Suffering From ‘Kidney Failure’ As Prayers Requested From All Over the World

The Vatican has confirmed that Pope Francis continues to fight for his life after doctors shared that he has entered the early stage of renal failure.

 

The religious pontic is said to be admitted to the hospital in a very critical condition where blood tests confirm kidney failure.

The latest update had them speaking about how he’s under close observation as he continues to battle pneumonia and a very complex lung infection.

It added how the Pope didn’t have any other respiratory symptoms since Saturday night but was still getting high flows of supplemental oxygen.

Some of the tests showed him to have an initial mild kidney failure but it was under control.

However, his platelet count remains low which is necessary for blood clotting and preventing any kind of serious bleeding disorder.

Doctors called the medical picture a very complex one and the necessary wait for drug therapies to provide their desired feedback. He added that they needed to dictate the prognosis in detail and that would be reserved and not shared.

The Pope was said to be grateful to his team of doctors and other worshippers from around the globe for their prayers and support during this time.
