Dan Bongino Shares Social Media Post on His First Day at FBI

Conservative broadcaster and newly appointed FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino made headlines on Monday morning with a social media post before taking on his new post within the Trump administration.

Bongino shared a simple post early on Monday morning, which just featured two American flag emojis.

Support for Bongino poured in as thousands responded to his tweet.

“God is watching over you, he chose you for a reason, one to get the truth out, and to help safeguard America. Thoughts and prayers as you begin this new venture,” one user wrote.

“Good luck today, Dan! I am so incredibly stoked that someone I listened to for years is now going to be Deputy Director of the FBI. You’re a true patriot, and we love you,” another user wrote.

“Proud to see the stars and stripes flying high The United States is a beacon of freedom, innovation, and strength. Let’s keep America great and support our brave men and women who defend our nation. God bless America,” a third user wrote.

Bongino sent fans a heartfelt message ahead of his last show on Friday before taking on his new post within the Trump administration.

In a post on the X platform, Bongino appeared to suggest, however, that his Friday broadcast would not be his last one ever.

“Today is my last show. It’s been the honor of a lifetime to have the privilege of being on your radios, your phones, and in your homes, for a few hours each day,” he wrote. “It’s not easy to keep it together as I type this. Please tune in to my last podcast on Rumble at 11A and allow me to say a proper goodbye.”

He then added: “I’ll see you all on the other side.”

Bongino then added a link to his show:

President Donald Trump announced that Bongino would be the next deputy director of the FBI last month.

Trump posted the announcement on his Truth Social account:

“Great news for Law Enforcement and American Justice! Dan Bongino, a man of incredible love and passion for our Country, has just been named the next DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE FBI, by the man who will be the best ever Director, Kash Patel. Dan has a Masters Degree in Psychology from C.U.N.Y., and an MBA from Penn State. He was a member of the New York Police Department (New York’s Finest!), a highly respected Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, and is now one of the most successful Podcasters in the Country, something he is willing and prepared to give up in order to serve. Working with our great new United States Attorney General, Pam Bondi, and Director Patel, Fairness, Justice, Law and Order will be brought back to America, and quickly. Congratulations Dan!”

Later, Trump added: “Another aspect of the life of Dan Bongino that I think is very important. He has a great wife, Paula, and two wonderful daughters who truly love their dad. What an incredible job Dan will do!!!”

And this month, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt sent a strong message to people in Washington worried about Bongino’s appointment.

“This is a man who loves his country and honorably served our country in ways that many have not,” she said. He’s also an outsider to this Washington swamp, and we often see when outsiders are appointed to such coveted positions, a lot of people in this city get very nervous and they should be.

“Because Dan Bongino, Director Patel, and Attorney General Bondi are focused on rooting out corruption at these agencies and ending the weaponization of government once and for all,” she added.

Bongino called out Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) on his show just days before Trump made his announcement.
