Ivanka Trump, the daughter of Donald and Ivana Trump, was raised in a disciplined environment that prioritized ambition and structure. Reflecting on her upbringing, she remarked, “She was very much my cultural influence,” in reference to her mother, who was a strict disciplinarian and occasionally resorted to spanking. Despite her affluent background, Ivanka encountered difficulties, describing her experience at boarding school as akin to “the prison of boarding-school life.”
During her teenage years, Ivanka ventured into modeling, collaborating with renowned designers such as Versace and Thierry Mugler, although she never regarded it as a long-term career. “I didn’t particularly enjoy the act of it. It’s as ruthless an industry as real estate,” she confessed. After completing her studies at Wharton, she became involved in the family business and later appeared on “The Apprentice” to help promote the Trump brand.
Ivanka met Jared Kushner in 2007, and they tied the knot in 2009. She humorously remarked about their matchmakers, saying, “Whenever we see them we’re like, ‘The best deal we ever made!’” The couple has three children, and Ivanka places a strong emphasis on family, waking up at 5 a.m. to spend time with them. “I want my children to see me first every morning,” she expressed, as she navigates the balance between her professional and personal life.
Following their departure from the White House in 2021, Ivanka and Jared opted for a more subdued lifestyle. A family friend commented, “They’re really just settling into normal life and truly enjoying it.”
