Carly would have given anything in the world to live in a loving home.
Unfortunately, the sweet puppy and her parents lived a miserable life with a careless and neglectful owner.
Since the doggy family didn’t have the proper care, they developed skin issues.
Instead of trying to help their dogs, their heartless owner surrendered them to BARC Animal Shelter & Adoptions, an animal shelter in Texas, and requested them to be put down.
The dog family felt heartbroken when they were separated and taken into different shelter kennels.
Carly looked through the kennel bars, hoping to catch a glimpse of her parents. She longed to throw herself into their arms again.
Hoping For A Miracle
Madeline is a kind-hearted foster parent and a shelter volunteer who advocates for euthanasia-listed dogs.
As soon as she heard about the heartbreaking situation of Carly and her parents, she rushed to visit them.
Carly seemed lost and confused in her kennel without her parents by her side. She looked at Madeline with tearful eyes as if she was begging her to help her and her family.
The big-hearted volunteer knew how much the puppy missed her mom.
Madeline visited Carly’s mom, Chicha, and her dad, Chicho. They were placed in different kennels but their brown eyes reflected the same sorrow and helplessness.
The kind-hearted woman was incredibly moved by Chicho’s sweet personality. As soon as the doggo saw Madeline, he asked for cuddles.
The mother dog was neglected. She was infested with mange and she lacked patches of fur. Her skin was sore and crusty.
The kind woman knew that Chicha was worried for her furbaby and she promised that she would take her to see Carly.
As soon as Madeline took Chicha to the part of the shelter where Carly was staying, the mama dog knew exactly where her baby was and rushed to her.
The mother and daughter sniffed and kissed each other through the kennel bars.
Carly breathed a sigh of relief to see that her mom was alright. She reached her paw toward her, although she knew that she couldn’t get to her.
Fighting To Save Precious Lives
Madeline shared a video of Carly, Chicha, and Chicho on social media, hoping to find a rescue that would pull them out and save them from euthanasia.
Fortunately, her efforts paid off. SNARR Animal Rescue Northeast promised to save the doggy family.
The New-York-based rescue organization is dedicated to saving dogs who struggle to find homes, including those with health conditions, those who are paralyzed, deaf, blind, or those facing euthanasia.
Shortly afterward, the foster families stepped in to help and took Chicha, Chicho, and Carly home.
The canine family is currently getting used to living in a loving home. In a few months, they will be transferred to New York and start searching for a forever home.
