The collision happened around 10:17 a.m. on a taxi line between S Concourse and the airport’s south maintenance hangars. The Port of Seattle Fire Department, police, and SEA operations responded swiftly to the situation. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
Airport authorities have also worked with both airlines to ensure passengers are safely deplaned and transported to the terminal. Since the incident took place on a taxi lane, there was minimal impact on flight operations.

Last Friday, January 31, a small medical plane with six people onboard crashed near a shopping center in Northeast Philadelphia. It left no survivors and killed one person on the ground.
Concerns grew further on Sunday when a United Airlines flight from Houston to New York had to be evacuated. This was after flames erupted from one of its engines mid-flight. The incident at SeaTac didn’t just leave passengers in shock—it also caused disruption to flight schedules, adding frustration for many travelers.
