The U.S. government is reportedly getting ready to send weapons and military gear to Israel, worth about $1 billion as part of a new package.
The report came out on Monday.

The newspaper mentioned that US President Donald Trump’s administration has asked Congress to give the green light for the transfer, which will be funded by military aid money that the US gives to Israel.

This includes thousands of 1,000-pound bombs and armoured bulldozers used for military engineering.
Recently, Trump lifted a hold that former president Joe Biden had placed on a shipment of 2,000-pound bombs for Israel.

The last administration thought because of concerns that those arms were on hold because Israel might use them in crowded areas of Gaza. However, it seems like things are changing now.
